Windows .NET 3.5 is required. If it is not present, you are prompted to install it. (Even if you already have .NET 4.0 installed)

If Your Capture is Blank

Personal Capture now uses the Windows Media Foundation (WMF) for video capturing. Specifically, the cameras should be YUY2 or RGB24 compliant (the camera packaging should indicate this) and supported on a Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 platform. If your capture is blank, first check to make sure the camera is attached (if external) and then try an Audio/Video capture. Refer to Test Protocol for Web Cameras for basic instructions. You may also try lowering the output quality of the capture if you selected High Quality/Large Files. This setting requires significant system resources to process.
