Personal Capture now uses the Windows Media Foundation (WMF) for video capturing. Specifically the cameras should be YUY2 or RGB24 compliant (the camera packaging should indicate this) and supported on a Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 platform. If your capture is blank, first check to make sure the camera is attached (if external) and then try an Audio/Video capture. Refer to Test Protocol for Web Cameras for basic instructions. You may also try lowering the output quality of the capture if you selected High Quality/Large Files. This setting requires significant system resources to process. |
