- Verify that you have at least 5 GB of free space on the directory/drive where the ESS application upgrade is to be performed. If you do not, the upgrade will fail.
- Back up the ESS application.
- Back up the database. You must do this manually; database backup is not performed as a function of installation.
- Download the upgrade package from the customer portal.
- Upgrade the ESS.
- Upgrade Devices.
