Overdue:

For both the Capture Status and the Log Upload Status.  This means that the device is not in communication with the ESS.

What do I do if my device is Overdue?

Here are some basic troubleshooting steps in escalating order for an Overdue device:

1. Make sure the device is plugged in and powered on.

2. Make sure the device has an ethernet connection and, if the device is an SCHD, that the ESS Comm light is green. If the device is a PRO, make sure that the Front Panel displays a connected icon:

3. Once those basics have been confirmed, FAT32 format a blank USB drive and place it into the USB port on the device.

4. Wait a couple of minutes and then remove the USB drive from the device.

5. Check the USB drive for any writeback files.

-If there are no writeback files, proceed to step 8

6. Make sure that the IP address assigned to the device (from the writeback files) is valid.

7. From the Configuration -> Devices -> Device details page download the Device Configuration File and feed it back to the device in question.

8. Do a device reset:

Reset an Appliance to Factory Defaults
